WebYou have to heat the oil and wax flakes until the wax melts. This is dangerous. I put wax flakes, 1 1/2 tbs in 2 cups of oil in a glass jar. With the jar on the bench, use a heat gun to heat the mixture. You have to keep spinning the jar to avoid a hot spot that would cause the jar to break. It’s tedious and takes awhile, but keep the jar moving.
