WebIf the pitting is only light you can clean them up with a medium scotchbrite pad and some penetrating oil (WD40 or equivalent) then once they are rust free polish them up with a decent metal polish and if possible a buffing wheel. the pitting will always be there but if you do a good enough job with the scotchbrite etc you won't really notice it...
