WebThe General Behavior Inventory (GBI), a self-report instrument that measures mood disorders, was completed by 224 drug-dependent subjects, who also completed other psychometric tests, underwent clinical psychiatric evaluation blind to GBI results, and provided urine toxicology specimens during outpatient treatment. The current GBI questionnaire includes 73 Likert-type items which reflect symptoms of different moods. The original version of the GBI used case scoring where items were given values ranging from 1–4.
