Biggest issue I’ve had is the stitching coming undone but didn’t affect performance. Also the standard holes getting ripped in the outside of the liner but also a non issue. I did this after I switched from stock liner to a intuition power wrap which made my stance too upright. With a boot with well formed ankle and heel cups like the Mach 1 the wedge might or might not affect the fit around the ankle and heel.
